Hello and Happy Full Moon!
This year has kinda flown by but I’m pretty excited that Summer is just around the corner...
I’ve been pretty obsessed with my garden all Spring, and I can’t wait to see everything flourish and bloom even more than it already has!
Working in the garden this Spring has been both therapeutic and fun. I’m finally at a place where I can garden! I have well water, a gate to keep the critters out, (and mine in!) and I’m in a good growing zone to actually grow the things I want!
So- I may have gone a little overboard… (Nahh…)
I’ve been giving my plants extra attention these last couple of days around the Full Moon.
Did you know plants and soil absorb more water during the Full Moon? Tending to the garden during the Full and Waxing Moon will make plants grow faster. Same goes for hair!
And yes, tending to your hair/ garden during the New Moon will have the opposite effect!
(Sorry for the side tangent...)
This Full Moon is known as the Honey Moon
This Full Moon symbolizes a time of productivity, growth, abundance, and relishing in the sweeter things that surround you.
(No wonder spending all this time in the garden has been so fun and fulfilling these last few days.)
The Honey Bee is a symbol of both productivity AND taking time smell the flowers and enjoy the honey!
This Full Moon takes place in Sagittarius and Capricorn depending on where you are, which can cause different things for everyone. Read up on the entire report for this month here!
As mentioned in my previous post on this blog, I would be trying to update the blog more, at least on Full and New Moons and I almost missed this one…
cause I got a little carried away in the garden!
I went inside as soon as I felt a little too hot, but before I knew it, a thunderstorm came crashing in! (I just love the monsoon season out here!)
So, I stayed in and drew up and colored in a dreamy garden themed mandala full of honey bees, butterflies and flowers to keep my mind content and my hands busy while I listened to the storm.
I guess I didn’t realize how late it was since the skies were already so dark! Good thing Full Moon energy can be felt and used a few days before and after the actual day…
Because I did want to share the Ritual from Spirit de la Lune as well as my garden mandala for you to download and color for this beautiful Full Moon!
Mandalas are a great way to connect with your intuition, calm the mind and soothe the soul, and when paired with an intention on a Full Moon, mandalas can be pretty powerful! And this one is totally free!
Because of the influence of Neptune this week, our intuition is even more heightened than normal for a Full Moon, so this is a great time to tap into your intuitive side with a Full Moon ritual.
We thought that a Dandelion Divination Tea Leaf Ritual would be perfect for this month!
Are you familiar with tea leaf reading? I’ve tried it a few times for myself and it’s very fun!
I bought this little teacup from Borders when it was going out of business, and sadly after 10 moves, I lost the little companion book. But I kept the cup. My intuition knows best anyways... but if I do ever come across the book at a thrift store, I might pick it up.
Tea leaf reading or Tasseomancy, has been around for ages and as it spread, it adapted. It’s a technique anyone can learn to do! You don’t have to own a fancy cup at all. All you need is your intuition and imagination. And some tea of course...
For this Full Moon Ritual, we decided to use dandelion tea as our main base! There are plenty of teas out there that can enhance your intuition and aid in divination, but this one is probably already in your backyard!
The bees love dandelions, and when you pick them… more will grow back in their place!
Dandelion has long been known to aid in divination and is used to see beyond the veil. It can help strengthen your intuition and enhance psychic abilities… but that’s not all!
Dandelion has so many health benefits! The entire plant is edible and good for you! It’s full of nutrients and vitamins. It’s great for your skin topically and great for your body when ingested.
As long as you know there are no pesticides or chemicals sprayed on them, don’t be afraid to try them!
Be sure to download your free mandala before your head over to the Spirit de la Lune blog for the full ritual!
I LOVE creating mandalas… and I love to share them! I usually share them with my Patrons, but I really wanted to make this one public! I’d love to see a picture of your colored in mandala! Either post it to instagram and tag me… or send me a pic via email!
Oh! And don’t forget, both Spirit de la Lune and Untamed Truth Oracle are for sale again. I’m waiting to hear back from my printer to find out shipping times, (as well as info on another project I have in mind...) and I expect to hear an answer any time now.
I’ll keep you posted.
The Untamed Truth Oracle deck comes with a free art print, & Spirit de la Lune will have RAINBOW foil instead of silver for this version!
So, if you’ve been waiting for one of these decks… now is a wonderful time to get them! (If you purchase both decks, I’ll ship them together and refund the shipping difference to you if you can remind me in a message to seller!)
