A year of Intuition, Imagination, and Imagery.
I am so excited to announce that I am a guest teacher in Pull Pen Paint again!
I really meant to announce this earlier...
But what I thought was just the sniffles turned out to be a full blown cold... I'm so sorry for the short notice!
I spent almost all of last week sick in bed with weird fever induced hallucinations, I couldn't even figure out how to log in and enroll myself in the course.
Luckily our host Kiala Givehand is super sweet and understanding and walked me through it.
Class began on the 15th with a live kick off, but lucky for us, it's been recorded, and new content is going to be uploaded throughout the year.
I can't wait to dive into all the current material and foundational lessons. I'm excited to see what this year holds as all of the other brilliant teachers upload their magick.
Last year's class seriously rocked my world.
I met some amazing people in the class. The online community for this class was so supportive and fun.. I've taken tons of online courses, but this one had one of the best groups and community. Our host Kiala is just magic. She is so helpful, sweet, and kind.. not to mention genius.
I'm pretty sure my world changed as soon as I saw her first video on book making. I had no idea it was that easy and quick! I used to just art journal in a sketchbook, but now I don't think I'll ever be able to go back! There is something just so powerful and personal about making your own book!
Last year's course was super inspiring. in fact, it's this course that helped inspire my deck! Kristen from Over the Moon Oracle Cards created a brilliant oracle deck challenge that she shared with the course. I know many people created beautiful decks from that challenge! She and I are actually planning an interview in a few weeks about the creation process.
I literally can't recommend this course enough. I'm SO excited it's a full year now!

Here is a bit more info in case you aren't convinced yet... ;)
In this year long course multiple teachers will share methods of using tarot, oracle cards, and other intuitive guidance systems to elevate our personal journaling, spiritual, and creative practices. The cards are creative and intuitive tools that when used intentionally can lead to deeper insights into who we've been, who we are, and who we can become.
This is a basic course for all levels and types of journalers. The course is designed with three kinds of journal keepers in mind: those who keep an analog or digital written journal, those who art journal, and those who blend words and images to create a visual journal. And it doesn't matter if you've never used a tarot or oracle deck before, there will be plenty of opportunity to explore online and we will journey together as we make our own oracle decks in March 2018.
While we will primarily use Tarot and Oracle cards in this course, we will also touch on, and incorporate, other intuitive guidance systems (astrology, numerology, crystals, chakras, and more).
The course features:
- Video tutorials
- LIVE virtual sessions
- Inspirational Prompts
- Inquiry-based activities
- Tutorials on making several handmade journals to use over the course of the year
- A private Facebook group
- Virtual study and art sessions
- Lots of love, support, and encouragement
The course is broken into three main focuses:
1. PULL -- Learning to use Tarot and Oracle Cards for creative exploration, self-study, and intuition training. This section also includes learning about other intuitive guidance systems like Astrology, Numerology, Crystals, and more.
2. PEN -- Exploring written responses as a tools for going deeper with your personal practices. Written journaling helps you reflect and excavate. We will journal together, archive, document, and record our experiences using the cards (and other systems) as guides.
3. PAINT -- Yup! That one is likely self explanatory, but in short, we will use paint (of all kinds) to interpret our connection to the cards and the messages they guide us to.
You probably guessed it... I'll be teaching in the Paint category, but might also be doing a bit in the Pull section as well.
I haven't fully decided what it is that I will be teaching, but i've got some really fun ideas so far!
I would seriously love to see you in class!
